Prada’s Pudsey

The Prada Pudsey Bear is made of ‘saffiano’ leather, one of the most historical materials of the brand. The eye bandana is made of printed silk with a Holliday & Brown graphic design from the mid 60’s, exclusively re-edited for Prada. Pants are in blue kid mohair; the multicolour sweater reminds of a 1970s polo shirt. Shoes are inspired by English elegance and craft, which is reinterpreted in a modern way through the sole which has several layers. These layers – leather, rope (that recalls the look of ‘espadrilles’), a grey micro-perforated lower layer (typical of sports shoes) - form a contrast between the upper part of the shoe – a high quality and sophisticated piece of shoemaking – and the sole, which is inspired by sports shoes.
